Introducing Sershon Systems
While working with clients for the last year at McKinstry, I became incredibly familiar with the language and nuance of the Clean Buildings Performance Standard. I started Sershon Systems after seeing, again and again, the relief of clients who saw just how much time they had saved by having an expert in their court instead of spinning their wheels digging through the documentation on their own. I realized however, that while bigger contractors and engineering firms are providing Clean Buildings assistance as an avenue for marketing their own services, I could provide a targeted approach to get building owners and managers exactly what they needed to comply. That’s why I started Sershon Systems.
My background is in commercial building engineering and building controls, but I’ve always been passionate about more than that - about how the systems of people operating the building have an affect on its performance, and on the experiences of the occupants. Not only am I invested in how we can improve operations of our existing building landscape, but these building will play a huge role in our collective path to decarbonization - and I’m committed to contributing to that success. See more about me and testimonials about my Clean Building Performance Standard work on the About page.
I’m excited to be moving down this sustainability path, and committed to helping people comply with the Standard, but I also believe that compliance can work in any building owner’s favor. Not only does energy efficiency save money, but being strategic about compliance planning will position buildings well for the future of decarbonization legislation in our State. I would love to help you leverage the Standard to accomplish your goals.
